The Comcare National Conference is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
- A prayer room and parents’ room will be available. Please speak to the conference team onsite for access.
- A low-sensory room will be available for anyone needing a quiet break. The space features reduced lighting, minimal sound and comfortable seating. No loud conversations, phone calls or meetings are to be held in this room.
- Sunflower lanyards are supported at this conference.
- Hearing loops have been installed in the National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC) Theatrettes, Royal Theatre, Gallery Rooms and Ballroom. Please advise staff if you require a hearing loop.
- Ramps are located at the Constitution Avenue and Glebe Park entrances to the NCCC.
- All session rooms have wheelchair access and flat floor seating available.
- A passenger lift provides access to both levels of the Centre, and to the top level of the car park.
- Easy-access bathrooms and baby change stations are available on both levels.
Sustainability
We aim to reduce the environmental impact of this event. We encourage all delegates, partners, exhibitors and suppliers to do the same.
- Conference satchels will not be provided. Please bring your own bag for your conference materials.
- Printed materials will be kept to a minimum. We encourage you to use electronic resources such as the Conference App or website.
- Refillable water stations will be provided. We will provide some reusable water bottles, but encourage you to bring your own.
